Job Description -Mine Engineering Manager
▪Develop and implement long-term and short-term mine plans to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets.
▪Conduct geological and geotechnical assessments to determine coal quality and quantity estimation using updated software.
▪Lead and manage the mine planning team, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with various departments, such as geology, engineering, and operations.
▪Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance mine planning efficiency and productivity.
▪Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and financial targets.
Reserve Estimation: Accurately estimate coal reserves using geological data analysis, surveys, and advanced software, determining quantity and quality of deposits.
▪Mining aspects like Good Mining practices, mining sequence, risk assessment, Environmental implications, Mine closure, Geological modeling, KKL.
▪Strategic Planning: Develop long-term mining plans based on reserve estimates, considering extraction methods, resources, and sustainability.
▪Team Management: Lead geologists, engineers, and experts in data collection, fostering effective collaboration for successful planning.
10-12 years of work experience in mining preferred in open cut mining with proven track record
▪Technical Expertise: Apply strong geology, mining, and modeling knowledge to interpret data, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with regulations.
▪ S-1/S-2 Mine Engg, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
▪Extensive experience in mine planning, with a proven track record of successful projects using appropriate software
▪Proficiency in mining software and tools, such as Surpac, Minescape, and AutoCAD.
▪Strong leadership and team management skills.
▪In-depth knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and budget management.
▪Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
