Job Highlights:

- The position is to begin no later than 21st August. The successful candidate will be able to commence by this date.
Working for Shapeshell International, PT, you will be positioned offshore in Indonesia (Batam) and will provide Estimating services to a leading Australian company in the commercial roofing and cladding industry

As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering accurate estimates for construction projects, while gaining exposure to Australian Standards of Commercial building.
The successful candidate will have a high degree of English (written and Verbal) proficiency, and will have completed a Jobstreet JELA Assessment. (must have requirement).

Responsibilities:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with project managers and draughts persons to prepare and deliver accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for construction projects.
- Managing and producing material take-offs, including job sequencing and workloads.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and investigating alternative solutions when supplies are not available.
- Ensuring estimates are executed in accordance with client specifications, design briefs, and company procedures.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new design and construction technology.
- Adhering to quality, safety, and environmental requirements in tender submissions.
Scope Adjustment:
In addition to estimating, you will provide input on design and value management, complete variations, and obtain sign-offs. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers to negotiate scope adjustment approvals and ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction management, Project Management or a related field.
- Demonstrated product knowledge in facade materials, sheet metal, cladding is desirable, but not essential.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, including demonstrated experience in winning tenders and providing accurate take-offs within scope.
- Exceptional written and verbal English skills (required)
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction principles.
- Confidence in mathematics and attention to detail.
