Job Summary:
The Instrument Maintenance Specialist is a seasoned professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering and a robust background encompassing 5 years of hands-on experience in the field. With an in-depth understanding of instrumentation and electronics systems, this individual has excelled in maintaining and optimizing a wide range of equipment.
Having progressed to a supervisory role, the incumbent brings 2 years of proven leadership experience to the team. They are adept at coordinating, overseeing, and evaluating maintenance tasks related to instruments and controls. Their comprehensive knowledge allows them to ensure the reliability and performance of critical equipment, contributing to the overall safety and operational efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination and Maintenance Oversight:
- Implement coordination, supervision, and evaluation of all maintenance tasks for instruments & controls to uphold equipment reliability and contribute to the safety goals of machine operations.
- Inspect and monitor predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities on instrumentation equipment, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Equipment Enhancements and Modifications:
- Prepare substitutes, modifications, and improvements for instrumentation & control equipment to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Execute improvement/automation plans for existing business processes, ensuring sustained superior performance and operational excellence.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Enhance the capabilities and performance of our maintenance team members by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Trainer.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement within internal and external teams.
Maintenance Work Management:
- Implement coordination, arrangement, and control of maintenance work for field instruments & controls, ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimized disruptions.
Sustainability and Compliance:
- Implement company policies related to Sustainability Compliance & Management Systems (ISO, EMS, Safety, MBOS, etc.) to drive business sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Organize energy and steam consumption in machine operations, enhancing performance to reduce carbon emissions and align with environmental objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control maintenance.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with at least 2 years of successful team management.
- Strong technical proficiency in electronics and instrumentation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and environmental practices.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.
- Fluent in English
- Willing to be placed in Karawang, West Java.
