As an IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for securing the company’s computer systems and networks from security threats. You will work with the IT team to identify security risks, develop security strategies, and implement effective solutions. In addition, you will also be involved in detecting and responding to security incidents and providing security training to staff.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Identifying and evaluating IT security risks
* Developing and implementing IT security policies
* Monitoring network and computer system security
* Managing user access and privileges
* Detecting and responding to security incidents
* Conducting digital forensic analysis in the event of a security breach
* Providing IT security training to staff
* Safeguarding the company’s sensitive data and information
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with security standards
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security
* Understanding of network security, application security, encryption, and other security technologies
* Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH preferred
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong understanding of security compliance, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS
