POSITION SUMMARY

To assist Hospital Sales Head in establishing, managing and retaining relationships with stakeholders at chain hospitals, institutions and private insurance and by doing so enable the organization to secure and maintain business volume in those accounts.

Generally (key) accounts that are suitable under the responsibility of (Key) Account Manager are big accounts (chain hospital, institution, private insurance) who procure their products using common or national/universal tender systems or using their own internal tender/purchase systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing, managing and retaining relationships with key accounts for products/area of responsibility to secure and maintain business volume of products under responsibility.
  • Implement sales strategies developed by Senior Management Team 
  • Identify and cultivate new business prospect from chain hospital, institution and private insurance
  • Whenever necessary and possible coordinating and synergizing with the Market Access Team or Sales Team (Medical Reps, First Line Manager and Second Line Manager) to exploit further business opportunities in key accounts
  • Enhance product presence in the chain hospital, institution and private insurance collaboration with sales tea,
  • Being responsible for gathering information on market trend, regulation changes, business processes changes, competitor activities for key account and provide feedback to Senior Management Team and suggests actions if necessary

 

QUALIFICATION

  • University or Academy background, preferably from science majors
  • 3-5 years-experience as Key Account Executive/Manager in ethical pharmaceutical. 
  • Proven established relationship with keychain hospital, private insurance, and relevant institution stakeholders in Indonesia
  • Team player, strong leadership, communication and managerial skill
  • Computer, internet literacy and able to communicate in English
  • Self-motivated, analytical and good problem solving

 

KEY RESULT AREA

  • Understanding of business flows and practices, particularly the tender, key account (chain hospital, institution and private insurance) business
  • Succeed in securing B to B deal in majority key chain hospitals, private insurance and relevant institutions.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills across all functions and levels at internal/external his/her account
  • Effective in implementing sales strategies and tactics
  • Good delivery on customer satisfaction, particularly for key accounts
  • Good relationship with distributor and wholesaler
  • Quality of knowledge related to the products
