Job Descriptions :
- Manage and coordinate all procurement activities for the hotel, including sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Assess current and future purchasing needs of the hotel and develop procurement strategies accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels and control stock levels to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing requirements and provide support as needed.
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and documentation for audit purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Train and mentor junior purchasing staff members as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of purchasing software and systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
