Exciting Opportunity for a Software Project Manager

Location: Singapore

Position: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Software Project Manager to spearhead our APAC Team. This full-time position, based in Singapore, reports directly to the Regional Director of Business Development APAC.

Role Overview: The Software Project Manager (SWPM) plays a crucial role in detailed process and interface specification, focusing on software project management during the implementation phase. Collaborating closely with the in-house development team and third-party service providers, the SWPM ensures the delivery of IT solutions aligned with pre-defined specifications. Additionally, the SWPM contributes to WES (Warehouse Execution System) consulting for new projects during the sales phase.

This role requires collaboration with sales and project managers to craft competitive IT solutions that truly benefit our customers. In addition to project management responsibilities, the SWPM actively contributes to the development and enhancement of standard WES descriptions, processes, and documents. This role thrives in a startup environment, embracing diverse tasks across different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the WES specification phase and oversee the WES implementation phase until final acceptance.
  • Engage with customers to understand their logistics and IT needs.
  • Assess existing customer operations to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Propose and recommend optimal logistics and IT solutions that deliver customer benefits.
  • Maintain constant communication with customers, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate internal and external service providers in the sales and implementation phases.
  • Support WES-related activities in the sales phase from acquisition until contract.
  • Provide software consultation for our solutions.
  • Develop standard descriptions, processes, and documents.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in software engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in software project management with a proven portfolio of completed projects.
  • Experience in sales projects.
  • Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including OneNote.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
  • High willingness to travel within the region.
