We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Executive to join our team at ESYE.

The Retail Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring that our stores are running smoothly and efficiently whilst delivering excellent customer experience to our customers.

The Role

As our Brand Ambassador

  • Establish a constant focus on our Brands, continually driving engagement, knowledge, and passion for our Brands across all our stores and teams.

As a Team Leader

  • Be a presence and a role model leading on the store floor, acting as a brand ambassador, and leading by example in providing excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Monitor, coach, and provide feedback to the store team to deliver the same standard of excellent customer experience.
  • Have excellent product knowledge and drive the same standard across all stores.
  • Drive the use of digital assets to enhance the customer experience at our stores.
  • Be operationally hands-on, working with the teams on the sales floor to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs set by Management.

Retaining and Developing Talent

  • Lead, inspire, and maintain a high-performing, positive team.
  • Continually elevate the capability of the store team through recruitment, staff development, mobility, and effective succession planning.
  • Establish a learning culture within the team about our Brands and products.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of all Sales Associates.
  • Manage and maintain low staff turnover and absenteeism rates.
  • Conduct annual, half-yearly, and quarterly individual performance reviews with all teams.
  • Provide constructive feedback and constantly provide coaching to individuals and teams to improve personal and store performance.
  • Propose internal promotions and transfers when necessary.
  • Inform and update Management on any disciplinary issues.

Nurturing Customer Relationships

  • Establish and embed customer-focused behaviors across all stores.
  • Build and cultivate long-term customer relationships and lead all stores to do the same.
  • Develop local clientele and VIP lists.
  • Address, manage, and resolve any customers’ feedback and complaints.
  • Maintain a high level of motivation in all stores and ensure teams are dedicated to always offering the best customer service.

Driving Store Performance and Productivity

  • Drive operational excellence across all areas of the store.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all corporate standards, policies, and initiatives.
  • Work with the Management to develop, implement and update operational procedures and policies.
  • Maintain a luxury environment, ensuring excellent execution and maintenance of Visual
  • Merchandising Guidelines across the stores.
  • Plan a well-organized store roster according to daily traffic and sales trends to ensure appropriate staffing levels and adequate coverage.
  • Communicate and ensure that the teams are aware of all the brands’ promotion mechanics and incentives.
  • Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Approves repeat stock orders and transfers.
  • Meet sales KPIs and implement strategies to improve store performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain a commercial mindset and continually identify and convert opportunities to drive store performance.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product sales performance and optimize sales of the available inventory.
  • Conduct impromptu stock checking as well as half-yearly stock-taking of all stores to ensure inventory accuracy and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
  • Identify and solve all maintenance and aesthetics issues to ensure the store reflects the brand well.
  • Build and maintain familiarity with the local external environment, customers, competitors, and talent.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail operations or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Sales and results-oriented to drive and meet targets.
  • Service-oriented with a great passion for the retail industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office suites and other software applications.
  • Familiarity with retail POS systems and inventory management processes.
  • Able to work retail hours and on weekends.
